Test Method for Determining Wear Resistance Properties for Finger Implants
The purpose of this test is to determine wear resistance of finger implants. Metatarsaphalangeal component, phalangeal component, and UHMWPE insert are subjected to the test. Tests are conducted for 1 million cycle at the frequency of 5 Hz. Gravimetric wear analysis is made after tests are completed.
