The purpose of this test method is to determine resistance of bone drills torsional loading.

Dental torque wrenches are used to apply a specific torque. Since torque limiting mechanism of the dental wrenches can be damaged after specific cycle of use, it is critical to determine lifetime of dental torque wrenches. The purpose of the first part of this test method is to determine lifetime cycle of dental torque wrenches.  In the second part, precision of the specified torque limit is investigated, and it is determined that whether torque limit decreases after repetitive loading or not.

Test methods specifies corrosion resistance test, insertion resistance test and bending test for mosaicplasty kit.
